Dr Shaik Ubaid
Dr. Shaik Ubaid is a neurologist with fellowship training in clinical neurophysiology. He did his residency training in neurology at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.
After completing his fellowship at Weill Medical College of Cornell University, he stayed on as assistant professor of neurology and neuroscience at Cornell. He was the first director of Intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring at the New York Presbyterian Hospital of Cornell in New York City where he helped start the deep brain stimulation program for movement disorders. He was a member of the team that performed pioneering work in gene therapy research for Parkinson’s Disease.
Dr. Ubaid believes in treating the patient as a whole. He started his own practice in 2021 as he realized that personal touch through a small practice is the best way of providing comprehensive and advanced care in a professional and compassionate way to his patients. provides comprehensive neurological care that includes conditions such as stroke, multiple sclerosis, dementia, epilepsy, headache, Parkinson’s disease, sleep disorders, neck and back pain, neuropathy and other diseases of brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves and muscles. He provides Botox procedures for intractable and debilitating headaches. His hobbies include traveling, human rights and public speaking.
