My name is Dr. Shaik Ubaid. I have been practicing advanced and comprehensive neurology since 2000 and loving what I do.

I trained and taught at the prestigious New York Presbyterian Hospital of the Ivy League Cornell University. I was the first director of Intraoperative Neurophysiologic Monitoring and started the deep brain stimulation program at the New York Presbyterian Hospital.

I believe in delivering advanced and comprehensive neurological care in a comprehensive and professional way.

I have decided to start a solo neurology practice in 2021 so that I could build a practice dedicated to practicing neurology with a personal touch and in a professional manner. My office staff shares my philosophy.

At my practice, patients are more than their diseases and disorders. My goal is to form a personal and empathetic connection with all my patients, leaving them with a sense of hope and satisfaction. I devote my time and energy to my patients to help them with not just their physical health, but their emotional well-being as well. My goal is to not only treat my patient’s present neurological conditions but to equip them with resources to prevent future health problems.

I am affiliated with Samaritan Hospital in Troy and Ellis Hospital in Schenectady.
